Fars Foundation News Agency: The Organ transplant center of Namazi hospital in Shiraz is the most active pancreas transplant center in the Middle East.
The head of the organ-transplant department of Namazi Hospital in Shiraz-Iran said: The Organ transplant center of Namazi hospital in the last year has done more than 70 cases of pancreas transplantation.
Dr. Seyed Ali Malek Hosseini added we approach the anniversary of its establishment. He said last year we have had more than two thousand kidney transplantation in Shiraz, that this successful in addition to medical skills, shows the promotion of organ donation is in popular culture.
He said hundreds of thousands of Fars people filled the organ donation cards.
